ScottishSeaGlass Jewellery Terms and Conditions

Sea Glass

All Sea Glass used in my work is gathered, only, from Scottish beaches and shores.  It is all genuine reclaimed glass from the sea, which has been naturally tumbled by the Scottish sea and sand, giving it the smooth, frosted appearance.  Over time this frosted appearance will lessen as the jewellery is worn as the glass comes into contact with the natural oils found on the skin.

Occasionally, when Sea Glass and metal are in close contact a slight blackening may occur.  If this appears, simply use a small brush (e.g. toothbrush) and running water to gently clean away then blackening.

Jewellery – base metals

To the best of my knowledge, and details from my suppliers, the base metals of all silver plated necklaces, bracelets, broaches and other products are a combination of copper, iron, steel and brass.  No nickel is present.

Jewellery purchases and website photos

Where stated, Scottish Sea Glass products will not be identical to the photo images on the website.  This is due to the uniqueness of the sea glass.  However, all products will be a good likeness to the photos on the website, according to the sea glass I have gather from the beaches of Scotland.

Disclaimer

Sea glass used within jewellery and accessories.

The beauty of sea glass is the wonderful unique shape each piece possesses.

Every piece of Scottish Sea Glass jewellery I make has a slightly different appearance to the next.  Therefore, sea glass shape, shade and appearance may vary slightly from the coded images you see on the website and facebook pages. I do always endeavour to use sea glass as close in likeness to the images on the website and facebook page.  If this is not possible I will get in touch with you personally to discuss design details.  I do however guarantee each piece is chosen and made with the utmost care and attention to detail and all sea glass used is gather from the shore of Scotland’s beaches.

I hope when you receive your handcrafted, unique Scottish Sea Glass purchase you enjoy wearing and using it as much as I have enjoyed making it.  From collecting the reclaimed glass off the beach, to designing, drilling and completing each order, I truly love each stage.  Thank you for your order.

Gaynor 🙂
